About the Author
Audrey Furnas started writing because it was more socially acceptable than daydreaming.
She published her debut novel, My Totally Elfed Christmas, in the fall of 2020. She currently writes love stories set in and around a fictitious college called Avery University. She met her leading man her first day of college, so, naturally, she cannot help but want to revisit that time of life over and over.
When she is not storytelling, she enjoys eating dark chocolate, listening to audio books on walks (the only tolerable form of exercise), and losing to her son at board games. She can sometimes be caught wandering around her alma mater (UNC), green tea in hand, dreaming up more fun college romances. Audrey lives in Apex, NC with her husband and two kids who put the happy in happy place.

TMI about Audrey
- If it wasn’t for tea, I would be severely dehydrated.
- Taylor Swift is my alter ego.
- I wear pants with holes not because I’m cool but because it takes me so long to replace my jeans.
- I named one of my children after a character on One Tree Hill. I would have done it to both of them if I’d had sole decision-making power.
- Game of Thrones made me want to have a house motto. I'm still deciding on one. Decision-making is not my strong suit.
- I take care of peoples’ skin as a PA. Cyst removals are as horrifyingly fun as they look on YouTube. Also, I don't find warts fun, but I respect their resilience.
- My favorite place I have visited to date is Dingle, Ireland. I looked into moving there. I’m not Irish enough. I wish I was more Irish.
- My feet are never warm.
- My book boyfriend is hands down Jamie Frasier from Outlander. I want to ride on a horse with him. Also, my real-life man can’t handle boats either, so they’re basically the same person.
- I love bakeries. I can’t go near them.
